The beginning of my journey into the strange and magical world of test equipment synthesis. These recordings were made after a few weeks spent doing trial and error patching with different units, some which didn't work, until I was able to come up with a way to create improvised compositions that incorporate self-generated envelopes, rhythmic pulses, and percussive elements.

I did not use any pedals to affect these sounds, but I did send the signals out to a 3-head cassette player and back into my 4-track to get an organic lo-fi tape echo effect which gives the tones their space and character.
